Through three structured mechanisms: a Section 18A philanthropic contribution, a B-BBEE Socio-Economic Development (SED) contribution, or a Skills Development (SDL) aligned initiative. Each is treated as a separate mechanism no dual recognition is applied to the same contribution, though partnerships can be blended across categories.
The Legacy Project facilitates contributions that may be structured for B-BBEE Socio-Economic Development recognition. As a registered PBO with 81.3% Black beneficiaries, we supply the supporting documentation your verification agency needs, including confirmation letters and spend records. The Legacy Project does not award B-BBEE points or accreditation; scorecard recognition is determined through your own verification process.
Qualifying contributions receive a Section 18A tax certificate from the South African Hall of Fame Trust, reducing taxable income within the limits set by SARS.
Termly progress updates, a mid-year impact summary and a formal annual report covering platform progress, learner outcomes and how funds were applied. Partner-specific reporting is the rule rather than the exception tailored to your governance, marketing and statutory requirements.
The South African Hall of Fame Trust a registered Public Benefit Organisation (PBO 055-932), Section 18A approved. All grants, donations and partnership contributions are received by the Trust and applied through The Legacy Project as its delivery vehicle.
