The South African Hall of Fame successfully implemented the Legacy Project at Pretoria Boys High School in 2023, making this the second year of ongoing empowerment for our youth.
This Empowerment requires a collaborative effort involving educators, administrators, parents, and the broader community. Children can develop their full potential and become confident, well-rounded individuals by providing opportunities, fostering inclusivity, and nurturing life skills.
In partnership with Pretoria Boys High School, we identified a shortage of specialised coaching as a key problem area. By implementing the Legacy Project in 2023, we have noted an immediate and positive impact on the school.
In partnership with Pretoria Boys High School, the South African Hall of Fame has implemented the Student Sponsorship Program (SSP) to assist talented but financially disadvantaged scholars to realise their full potential during their High School years by providing scholarships or bursaries.
The Legacy Project has enrolled 10 scholars at Pretoria Boys High School from the 2023 school year.

I struggled a lot with my mental health growing up and still do ( depression, anxiety ), gym and sports were a way for me to escape that. Going into this industry my main goal was to be a sports psychologist, and maybe I can still grow to be that. My need is to help others improve their mental health and self-image through physical activity and to help others build and grow skills that help them stay motivated to want to better themselves from a place of self-care and love.
